Marquette Energy Analytics
To our valued Marquette Energy Analytics customers and friends,
Like many of you, we have been closely following the spread of COVID-19 and its implications. Our thoughts and best wishes are with everyone as we adjust to the changes brought about by these evolving circumstances. Like you, we are adapting to a new normal.
Marquette Energy Analytics was established to support remote work by all our team members, enabling them to support all MEA customers in all locations. When you live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the worst event you can imagine disrupting work is a blizzard. This is a much longer, and much more serious disruption. Our planning allows us to maintain our usual level of support.
I want to inform all users of our GasDay family of natural gas and electric power demand forecasting tools of our plans to assure the continuous operation of all products and services. We are working at full strength. You should expect no reduction in services or in access to our support team.
Specifically, you should know:
All team members are working remotely, away from Marquette Energy Analytics’ office, and will do so until CDC guidelines indicate it is safe to return. All employees have secure access to company communications resources, and all tools to monitor and support our products.
We have suspended travel, but are able to meet via Microsoft Teams, Cisco WebEx, Zoom, and most other meeting services.
Our GasDay & Electric Power Web Platforms, Measurement Scene Investigator, and other forecasting services are hosted on fault-tolerant and redundant platforms in secure data centers. Our local data center is likewise secure, with local and remote backups in place, and plans for rapid recovery in the event of an unplanned outage.
We continue our work on custom studies projects. Please contact us if we can help interpret your data during these weeks of unprecedented shifts in behavior and in our economy.
We know that you, your colleagues, and your customers are also undergoing very fundamental changes. Our goal is to function as part of your team during these unusual circumstances and be innovative and responsive in helping you maintain your operations.
With sincerity and hope for the best,
Tom Quinn, Ron Brown, and the entire Marquette Energy Analytics team.
